About Us

Inner West Magpies Junior AFL Club is a long established, volunteer run AFL club with a family focus. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for kids to become fit and active.

At the Magpies kids aged 5-17 can learn the great game of AFL and develop kicking, catching and running skills. It’s also a positive and inclusive club where kids make great friendships and connections.

Registration fees are low and include the uniform.

Club Values

Community: We strive to build a strong community among players, families, and volunteers.

Inclusivity: We provide an environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued, regardless of background, identity, or skill level.

Fairness and Respect: We champion fair play and good sport! We support one another, work as a team and celebrate each other's success.

Development: We seek to develop well-rounded people by focusing on both technical skills and character development through quality coaching and community involvement.

Fun: We believe a fun and enjoyable atmosphere is essential for players to develop their skills and love of AFL.

The club has regular Swans and Giants player visits throughout the season giving our players the opportunity to meet their footy heroes, learn skills from the best and get an autograph or two!

Auskickers can also play games at half time SCG or Giants stadium during AFL and AFLW games, a great opportunity for these budding AFL stars to get the big stadium experience.
