A New Chapter for WSJAFC
As communicated on the WhatsApp Community on the weekend, Sydney AFL Juniors recently restructured the competition, placing us in the Inner West area alongside Canada Bay, Concord, Drummoyne, and Leichhardt. This realignment provides a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our local connections and pathway to the Inner West Magpies our Senior Club.
Proposed Name Change
To better reflect our position within the competition and align with our Senior Club, the committee proposes changing the club's name from Western Suburbs Junior Australian Football Club to Inner West Magpies Junior Australian Football Club.
Your Voice Matters
This decision isn't solely up to the Committee. We invite all members to attend a special meeting on Friday, November 15th at 6pm at the Magpie Sports Club to vote on the proposed name change.
Please come along to share your thoughts and help shape the future of our club.
