General Committee Member
Join our flock! as a General Committee Member and make a real difference. This vital, flexible role is perfect for passionate people wanting to provide hands-on support without a specific portfolio. Responsibilities include attending meetings, assisting with game-day operations, and helping organise fundraising and social events. Your energy and ideas are essential to creating a positive and thriving environment for our young players.
Commitment: Approx. 1-2 hours/week during the season.

This role is dedicated to supporting our coaches, who are at the heart of the "nurturing every player" pillar. They are responsible for organising coaching resources, coordinating workshops, and creating a supportive network to ensure every coach feels empowered and equipped to provide a positive and enriching experience for their team.
- Produce the first coaches' handbook
- Work with coaches to build a coaching culture
- Ensure coaches know what their expectations are
- Ensure coaches have the equipment needed to coach
- Ensure coaches have completed accreditations
- Execute the coach training program with the AFL
Commitment: Approx. 7-8 hours/week during the season.

The Footy Operations manager oversees all logistical aspects of our teams and competitions. This includes managing scheduling, umpires, games issues and training, managing equipment, and ensuring compliance with all league rules and regulations. They provide the stable, behind-the-scenes support that allows our players, coaches, and game-day managers to focus on the game.
Commitment: Availability on game days is essential. 1-4 hour per week during the season

Co-Ordinator
This role is the gateway to our club. They are responsible for leading and managing the Auskick/Superkick program and kids, which introduces the game to our youngest players. Their goal is to create a fun, positive, and safe environment for our newest members, fostering a lifelong love for the game and providing a clear pathway for them to grow within the Magpies family.
- Attend the Auskick meetings with the AFL 1-2 per year
- Coordinate with Concord Giants / Drummoyne Power / Newtown Swans / Leichart Signets (Potential) to produce the competition schedule
- Manage weekly communication with the Auskick / Superkick community
- Organise and manage half-time experiences with the AFL
Commitment: Approx. 1-3 hours/week during the Auskick season.

This includes reaching out to new registrations, providing them with essential information, and connecting them with their team to ensure they feel like part of the family from day one..

This role ensures that every game day feels special. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the home game experience, from field setup and music to sideline activities and hospitality. Their goal is to create an exciting and welcoming atmosphere that makes our home ground feel like "the Nest."
Please Note: This role is not responsible for the execution of the game day experience; this is a coordinator and planning role.
- Develop the game day experience program
- Develop the volunteer program, for game day and canteen; including the club game day calendar
- Work with teams/volunteers to execute the ‘game day’ experience

This role is our link to the wider community. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local schools. They will organize opportunities for the club to engage with students through clinics or community events, introducing the Magpies to the next generation of players and families.

Commitment: Varies depending on grant cycles, approx. 4-5 hours/month.

- Write and produce 1 news story per week during the season

Commitment: Significant, approx. 5-10 hours/week.

This role is the administrative backbone of the club. They manage all club correspondence, convene meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and maintain all club records and legal documents. They coordinate with councils for permits and events, ensure communications adhere to club guidelines, support event planning, and maintain registers of committee members, volunteers and sponsors. They work closely with the President to drive long-term strategy.
Commitment: Significant, approx. 2-3 hours/week.

The Registrar is the primary contact for all player registrations and manages the entire process from start to finish.

- Coordinating player transfers and clearances with the league
